*edited to add that the florist delivered my mom a small bouquet of “sorry” flowers two days later. I specifically asked for no sunflowers in the original bouquet ordered, but I guess that was never noted. I’d still never use this florist again.
I feel so let down, and my poor mom had been let down TWO times by this florist.
I took time out of my day to order these flowers, provide all info for billing, and this is the least thing I can do being a whole state away from my mother on her birthday. I was a REPEAT customer, having used FBTS many times in the past. Never again.
I called my mother at 4:30. No flowers. I asked her to please wait at work until 5:00. No flowers. Now it's 5:00 and they aren't answering the phone for delivery status. My poor mother is the last one at work waiting for flowers. I call and the woman on the phone is very apologetic. Said a wedding changed dates from Saturday to Friday. I understood and said things happen. No big deal. She offered to take them late that night to my mom's home address. No thank you.
I called to get flowers delivered to my mother for her birthday on Friday. Told them to do whatever they want as long as it's big and beautiful. I gave them a budget of $130. I was told they would be delivered to her job (located less than five mins away) by the end of day.
Disappointed. Angered. Livid. Those are a few words I feel describe my experience with FBTS in Orange Beach.
I can’t imagine a florist taking a deposit from a bride and not returning her calls two weeks prior to her wedding. Thank goodness I’ve been in the business for over 20 years and we will have amazing flowers at the wedding. If you are considering using Carolyn you should should Definitely rethink it.
This is where being livid comes into play: she promised me she would take my mom flowers on Monday (today) to at least apologize for their huge mistake. So I tell my mom to look out for a delivery today. Guess what? No freaking flowers. Unbelievable.
