The restaurant is not set up to deal with a line, so people end up standing in front of the soda machine. The employees were in no rush, so it took about 20 minutes before we ordered. We got 2 chicken tacos and an al pastor burrito. Up on first bite, the food was high quality (comparable to Moe's) but by the second bite all you can taste is the salt. Both the chicken and the pork were loaded with salt, almost unable to finish the meal. We got one combo with chips and salsa and the chips were super greasy and also loaded with salt. Toppings and veggies were good.
Atmosphere was ok, except every table was dirty.
Staff seemed frustrated that we came in as the place was slow. My Gf ordered fajita veggies on her steak burrito, he said they didn't have any made, walked to back room and asked the cook. I guess they thought we couldn't hear them when the cook said, its slow I'm not making any. Then the guy came back and said "we're out completely"
The tortillas wernt warm at all, and both our meats (steak & al pastor) tasted cold and old.
Since their prices are slightly higher than
Our first time eating here... service was most excellent. The guy knew we had never been there before so he was very patient and explained the process very well for our group of 14 people... will definitely return again
Horrible experience. Went in for the "vegetarian" choices they had on their menu online. We ended up paying $7.00 each, for a scoop of rice and a small scoop of black beans in a large bowl. The only vegetables available were cooked peppers, white chopped onions, and lettuce. No tomatoes or anything else to add. My bowl was practically empty with only rice, beans, and lettuce...topped with some guacamole. It was quite sad and disappointing that they advertise vegetarian choices, but don’t have all the ingredients available. We left hungry and felt ripped off.
Moes or chipotle and the quality isn't there, I don't think we will be returning.
My wife and I came in tonight for the first time. The food was great, however the service was less than par. The staff seemed bothered by our questions of how things worked. The customers behind us were with The ARC Of Walker County, an organization that took a small group of adults with mental handicaps on vacation to the beach. The lady behind the counter asked “did you guys just get here from a party drunk?” They were treated like dogs and left there before we did. We saw their group parked at the Waffle House for dinner. We came inside to pay for their dinner and apologize on behalf of the taco place. As the owner of 6 companies, I understand the importance of feedback. I hope the owner of this location responds so we can remove this negative review and the chronic taco can continue offering great food to the community.
